点评:Hello, I’m Kishor Amliwalla from the U.K., our trip was organised by Indian Journey, and the whole journey was wonderful, time just flew so much in all the excitement that we did not realise it was time to go home. I would like to speak about The Andaman Islands, which are a group of picturesque Islands, big and small, inhabited and uninhabited islands. They lie along an arc in long and narrow broken chain. The great Andamans Coral reefs, were one of the biggest eye catchers and loved it. And also the wild forest, especially them lovely dears coming to greet u, tribals and marine creatures attracted me the most. I recommend it for every one...
There is no greater adventure than scuba diving. Whether you are a novice, or whether you have been diving for so many years, there is always something new, fascinating or challenging about venturing into the underwater world. Your brain may be mesmerised by clouds of colourful fish, your curiosity raised by the mysterious remains of sunken ships or your creativity awakened by the art of underwater photography. Your diving interests may range from a casual pastime pursued on vacation, to a constant passion, or even a career. Diving offers something new for all swimmers in a lifetime experience. The specialty is that, the coral reefs and underwater formations are undamaged by human activity. The best season for diving is from December to April.
Port Blair the Capital of Andaman & Nicobar Islands is connected with Chennai and Kolkata by air. Presently flights are operated by Indian and several other Airlines seven days a week.
Our trip began with Port Blair, where we visited the Cellular Museum and Jail to witness torture meted out to the freedom fighters. History awakens as we visit 'Veer Sawarkar' Smarak and see the light and sound show. Ross Island - is the place from where the British governed the entire Andaman and Nicobar islands, prior to India's Independence. This island is an ideal destination for nature walks amidst sylvan surroundings with deers, peacocks, exotic birds, etc. Later moved on to North Bay. The North Bay Island also known as the Coral Island is a beautiful beach island not far from Port Blair; it is surrounded by a wonderful beach known for its underwater coral reserves and a variety of fishes which makes it an essence of natural marine beauty and a perfect spot for underwater activities.
Next morning we took a ferry to Havelock island, It takes approx 2 hrs to reach the island. At the arrival of “The Radha Nagar beach” : Bestowed with the precious award of 'Asia's best beach' by TIME Magazine, Radha Nagar Beach situated 12kms from Havelock's ferry pier is undoubtedly one of the best beaches of Andaman Islands. Fine white sand, turquoise blue waters and a lot of peace and serenity are the hallmark of this beautiful landmass. The water at the beach is of exceptional quality as there is almost not turbidity and wave action. It is not a huge island to explore...
The following morning visited Elephanta Island by Boat. The Elephant beach offers more than just amazing views and natural sceneries, where again can take part in various water sports activities or relax or just laze around. Elephant Beach is one of the most distinctive beaches in the Andaman Islands. This stunning beach is situated in Havelock Island and it is the most visited beach in the Andaman Archipelago. Once upon a time, there were elephants on the islands they were spotted roaming around on the shores of the beach that is how the beach got its name. There was an elephant training camp close by back then but now there are no elephants that can be seen around the beach.
The day after we proceeded to Neil Island. Neil Island is known for its magnificent biodiversity, unexplored coral reefs and white sandy beaches. Upon arrival, we visit Bharatpur Beach – One of the best blue water beaches in Andaman.
We would like to thank Parvez ji from Indian Journey as well as his team who listened to all our needs and would like to share their agency with all our friends 🙏
