Not maintained well, staff don't care, locals park weekends
Caballo Lake State Park的点评
点评:All you need to know about management's priorities are that the rangers pickups were just repainted and windows have been blacked out, and surveillance cameras were installed at the park entrance, but the handicap shower at Stallion campground doesn't work and hasn't ever that I've known. Camp hosts don't use the restrooms so they don't care or notice. Rangers drive past you if you try to wave them down, like wannabe feds. I've never seen them do anything other than park, drive, or boat- they have too much time on their hands to be bothered with the public. Goathead thorns are very bad, there's little shade for dispersed camping, and the lake water is murky. It's a locals park weekends, but weekdays are quiet. Better birding at Percha Dam.
