点评:When you search "What to do in Bristol", Clifton Bridge if often the first place mentioned. Its a bridge? Whats the big deal? It is spectacular, thats the big deal. And everything is free (ish). There are some caves which you can pay to see.
Also there are some very expension shops nearby which are worth a visit.
The views from the bridge a brilliant and the views of the bridge good.
But i am writing to say "thank you" to Jane for answering all, my questions. She was patient and informative. She even answered my questions about the clifton area.
Thank you to all the volunteers.
Parking round about isnt easy. Because i was on my own, I parked at Portway Park and ride. I got the train to Clifton Downes station and walked about 30 minutes on a very hot day. Probably not a good idea with young children but i am sure there is a bus between the station and the bridge.
Thank you again Jane. Hope i have you name right.
(Jane used to live on a farm then she moved to Clifton. She clearly loves the area and i do too).
