点评：I booked this canoe trip as a surprise for my 10yr old grandson. It was £80 for a 2hr personal trip along the River Brid and a lovely young man named Nick to not only teach us how to canoe,sit properly, steer, brake, turn, get out of reeds 😅 he gave us some history of the River Brid. He also showed us one of the first commercial things to be sold which was The Bridport Dagger, later to become the hangman's noose. He let my grandson finish off sawing through a large tree brach that had fallen across the river, we saw a beautiful cormorant drying off, heard a bird of prey, saw the whizzing past of a kingfisher, I was so worried about getting in and out of the canoe due to arthritis but Nick made it easy, he made the whole trip a memorable and pleasant experience, We are looking forward to the next trip and to practice our manouvers that he taught us.
He also took pictures and video clips and sent them to us, our best day on holiday. Best £80 ever spent for a wonderful memory with my grandson.
