Three Counties Showground的点评
点评：I've been to the Flea Market quite a few times over the years, and have always found it a bit of a mixed day, and sadly some annoying points seem to be getting worse.
- The event is advertised as finishing at 3.30pm, but many traders pack up and leave at midday or even before. On a busy day you can barely get around the fair before the stalls are packing up, creating the sensation that the event has finished. Today I even saw a stall packing up at 10.30am. As a result of this, the entire day feels rushed and like you are not wanted.
- The 'Stockman's Cafe', the main place to eat at the showground, is absolutely dreadful. It's hugely overpriced at £12 for a lukewarm breakfast, that you have to carry on a small tray to crowded, communal tables (no easy task when carrying bags!). The food is of poor quality and in no way worth the high asking price.
- Other food and drink stalls are of mixed quality, but all very expensive. A simple bottle of water is £2.50 at every stall. Apparently they are made to do this by the showground, using the excuse of reducing 'single use plastic'. Make no mistake, they are not saving the planet - they are just ripping you off.
