点评:Having fallen foul of the food options at the Three Counties Showground before, I was disappointed to find it even worse than usual on today's visit to the flea market.
The Stockman's Cafe now charges an incredible £13.50 for a lukewarm breakfast of poor quality ingredients. Having had the misfortune of eating there before, I was put off by the increase in price (it was still too expensive when it was a tenner), and looked at the other options.
£9 for a simple burger without chips? No way. £8 for a bacon and sausage sandwich? What a joke. I ended up settling for a cornish pasty and a can of coke, which cost an eye-watering £11. The quality however was frankly dreadful, in no way worth this level of asking price. To make matters even worse, the person serving it was talking on his phone all the way through the order, barely even making eye contact.
The food has been terrible at the showground for years, but these latest increases in price are the final straw. Never again will I be ripped off in this manner, and I highly recommend everybody reading to bring your own food.
