Me and my partner chose to do the swimming with horses including a transfer from Daphnila Bay. I have a lot of positive things to say as well as some pointers for them. We went on a 35 min hack to the beach, swam on the horses and hacked back. The swimming part was very short about 4/5mimutes but this was april so I suggest doing it later in the season as this was one of the first times they had been back in the water after last summer and were not keen and I care a lot about the horses welfare so wouldn’t have persuaded to do more. I wish we had done a lot more swimming especially for paying 270 euros for the whole thing (120 transfer and 150 for the ride for two of us). Our guides were nice, 2 quite young girls and were responsible. They are lovely family very nice people although i would suggest if you have any other way of getting there, don’t take the transfer as the driver was on his phone a lot whilst driving and didn’t wear a seatbelt.
In my opinion for our experience of not swimming with the horses as we imagined and the short amount of time on the horses (definitely not three hours!) it is 100% way overpriced but i hope it will be better for people later in the season, we would have appreciated a discount as we didn’t do as much as other people would in the summer. It wasn’t worth the large amount of extra money to go in the water, a beach hack would have been pretty similar. They have changed location so be careful about looking at past reviews because the situation they have now I can imagine isn’t as good so maybe it used to be absolutely a fair price but it isn’t now. Overall they were a nice family but we feel we spent a lot of money for something we wish was a much more amazing experience. I hope as they spend more time at this location they will grow and get back to how it used to be.
