点评:I stumbled across this site on accident and I’m so glad I did! This little place is such a tiny gem in the Lewis and Clark journey. By gem I mean 6 days of hell on earth for them, but for me it was great!
This location is more or less a rest stop but it just so happens to hold a great deal of history. It is accessible for all, includes a restroom for you and your pet, and has plenty of parking. While it does get windy, the wind only adds to the experience as this is what Lewis, Clark and their team survived as well. Come take a break and rest at the not so dismal historical site.
Tip: As this is part of the Lewis and Clark expedition, if you participate in collecting National Park Cancellation stamps, you can stamp your passport for this site at the Fort Clatsop Lewis and Clark museum.
