点评：Hello Everyone,
This is for those who would like to get a blessing from the one of the oldest monastery monks in Bangkok.
I researched a lot online before arriving Bangkok and heading towards the monastery.
The Wat Bang Phra Monastery is indeed one of the best place for get a Sak yant blessing/tattoo from the monks. Please keep your mind clear and have faith in them. They get to decide what the sak yant will be and where they will make it.
It’s indeed quite painful and worth it. Praying worked for me while getting one.
Important Note:
1. Don’t fall if someone calls you for tattoo and takes you somewhere. It’s mostly scam and will ask you to pay 5-7000 baht. Easiest way to recognise is if there are more than 4-5 steps to climb, don’t go.
2. The offering: flowers, incense sticks etc. is about 80-100 baht. 40-50 baht separate to offer. Then, anything you would like to offer to the monk willingly.
I am very happy to get one. I have been waiting for years. It means Namo Buddhaya! 🙏🏻
