点评：Beautiful area and you really are in the heart of Porto. Bolhão is a 10 minute walk away and the Porto a mere 12 minutes. With endless shops and windy roads to explore it truly is amazing.
Restaurant recommendations: Flow and A Despensa. Both impeccable food!
BUT
We stayed in an apartment with hotel wise that is overlooking the Clérigos and above the Starbucks on the top floor might I add and each night there would be people on the street. Shouting, screaming, singing, arguing, fighting, motorbikes revving, cars honking repetitively as if to annoy residents. This starts at 12am though to 7am and it is continuous. Theres not an hour that it eases. Like I said we are on the top floor as well but it is horrifically loud. Bin men and street cleaners then start at 7/7:15am so again you cannot sleep in after a long day of exploring and sleepless nights.
Definitely will not be staying in the area again and completely advise others not to do the same but during the day it is wonderful.
A different side of this area comes out at night.
