Worth taking the time to explore the old walls, churches and chapels.

点评：We traveled with a neighborhood association tour. There were two buses and 110 "neighbors". In talking to others on the bus it appeared that we were the only ones not taking the trip to shop. Vila Nova de Cerveira and our second stop at Valenca are big bargain shopping centers. Shoppers come from all over northern Spain for lower priced bedding, clothes and shoes. However, we went to explore the ancient city walls, chapels and churches. Both cities are fascinating to explore. Easy to walk. If you get thirsty or hungry, both cities have an abundance of coffee shops. Merchants were friendly and people on the street were helpful in guiding us to places to explore. The cobblestone streets, stone city walls, ancient city plazas and churches are all well preserved and the chapels and churches were open. We thoroughly enjoyed the hours spent, perhaps, next time we will do some shopping.
