点评：How do I put into words the beer at Junkyard Brewing Co….simple amazing. If you enjoy great beer, near Moorhead, MN, and don’t make an attempt to stop at Junkyard you are doing your palate a disservice. It’s rare when I give a brewery 5 stars on every beer I had but I did at Junkyard. I’ll start with Strange But Not A Stranger, a double pastry stout with chocolate covered bananas, is the epitome of what a desert stout should be. The notes of banana are there but not in your face or dominating, on the nose of the beer, the chocolate which is mainly in the body of the beer when you drink with a nice finish blend of both banana and chocolate on the finish. A well balanced beer in terms of flavor. The ipa’s specifically, Can’t You Hear Me Knocking, a new england ipa with notes of tangerine and pineapple, will cool anyone off on a hot summer day while Cashmere Sky is just a hop bomb of juicy fruit notes of melon, tangerine, with coconut and subtle vanilla flavor is enough to make hop haters a double take or taste in this case. On the sour front Sky Candy – Mango is bursting with mango flavor that tastes like candied mango. I can’t say enough good things about Junkyard from great beer, friendly staff, and fun atmosphere with some great beer. Kid friendly no food $$
