A not so hidden gem

点评：From walking in to leaving every member of staff my wife and I came across were so polite, helpful, curtious but most of all very happy in their work. In the past few years we have travelled extensively both in the UK and abroad. The staff at the hotel are up with the very best. Names we can remember are, and I hope with the correct spelling Kia, Corrina and Carol. I wish we had known everyone's name we came into contact with so they had got a mention.
The hotel itself is newish, bright and spotlessly clean. Our room, 17 was spacious with a courtyard view, The bathroom was modern with a large bath and walk in shower. Very clean. Only complaint, the heating system takes a while to reach temperature.
Tykes restaurant is also bright and airy with plenty of room between tables. The food we had was lovely. The staff once again is fantastic.
Overall a gem. And we look forward to another longer stay in September.
