Great golf, great stay and welcoming staff

点评：We had a stay and play package at Spring Valley and it was top notch in every way. Very important to note that the photos on this Trip Advisor page are very out of date. The facilities are great. The barn and the furniture have all been updated. Most of these photos should be replaced as they are very misleading. As noted in other reviews, the owners and entire staff are welcoming, cheerful, helpful and polite. Most impressive was the condition of the course. Everything is so well cared for. Fairways, greens, tee boxes were all in top shape. Best public course conditions we've seen anywhere. We could tell that course maintenance is an ongoing project and the owners are rightfully proud. We golfed, spent the night and then departed for a neighboring course. It was a mistake to leave. On our next stay, we will stay at Spring Valley for the second day -- and we're definitely going back. The room was clean and quaint and met all our needs. The meals were generous and great -- both dinner and breakfast -- and were cheerfully served. This is a great place and only just over an hour from Pittsburgh. It's worth the drive and you miss out on much of the charm if you don't stay the night. We'll be back.
