Emirates Old Trafford的点评
点评：Went twice to the 4th test Eng v India. Having the fans of both teams mingling together made it really special and we had such a great time hearing about each others experiences of cricket and discussing tactics. Always nice to see achievements by players from both sides given a standing ovation from both sets of fans.
At lunch a drummer and saxophonist started a celebration type dance off in the stands which was an amazing experience. This also happened outside the ground after the game.
We were in lower C stand on one day and had the interviews right in front of us.
Lots of food stands withe average meal price about £12. Plenty of beer stands £6.95 a pint ( was £6.50 at recent T20).
Toilets not too bad. Cleaners very busy but late afternoon no one to replenish or clean so don’t expect toilet rolls or soap after 4pm.
Entrance bags checked but queues soon got through so only 5 mins wait which I thought was amazing given 20,000 due on.
Trams outside but very busy so expect to be in very close confinement with no room to even change position and keep family members very close because it is far too easy to get separated.
No trouble at all in the ground that we saw despite loads of noise from the party stand.
Please read the rules for entry including what you can and can’t bring in. Safety was a high priority and good to see although this turned beer cup snakes into a really fun game of spectator v stewards. I think this causes more risk of injury than just letting them have beer cup snakes that are only paper. ( I understand some residual contents may cause an issue but at least no one can fall over seats or down concrete steps running away from the stewards ). It was funny to watch though in the quieter moments of the game.
The spider cam was amazing to watch.
Highly recommend a visit and thanks to all the stewards. They were all really professional and helpful.
