点评：Came across a Facebook post about Riverside Falconry, so I booked in for a Hawk Walk with Tys the Harris Hawk and John, as I wanted something different for my fiancé’s birthday. Neither of us had done anything like that before, so we were both very excited. The experience did not disappoint! John was really lovely, very friendly and so knowledgeable about all the birds he has at Riverside Falconry. You could see the love he has for all of his birds and how he is more their family / part of their pack, than an owner. Every step of the way, John talked us through it all and what we were going to do, aswell as going through all the safety and giving us lots of information about Harris Hawks and his other birds. We went into woodland and made some great memories of a fab experience!
Tys / Tyson was so beautiful and majestic, she was a dream to watch and hold. My fiance was nervous but Tys was so calm around us, she really put him at ease, we were just in awe of her! I loved her little noises and call signs to John to warn him of things coming. We learned so much, as well as getting hands on with a Hawk too! 😍 John was really inclusive and made sure we both had a wonderful experience.
If you are thinking of booking then DO IT, YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED!
Remember these birds are birds of prey and they have natural instincts and ultimately you should always respect them!
