Boston Hill Farm的点评
点评：I found this place searching for attractions nearby while in North Andover, it came up as one of the top 15 places to visit. I do not recommend. The store/farm stand was filthy- from product, to doors, to bathroom, as well as, expensive. It was filled with some good product, produce, ice cream and a deli but given the lack of cleanliness- I wouldn’t purchase anything.
What got me was the animals and their living conditions. The goats had no clean water. There was one bucket of very dirty water for 4-5 goats and a sheep. The second enclosure had three goats and a similar bucket of dirty water. The worst part was the bunny area which was a few run down, small, rusty enclosures. Two of them were fighting to get water from a hanging water bottle with slightly brown water in it. I squeezed water into their mouths for at least 5 minutes, they were incredibly thirsty! Another had what looked like a wound on his nose, I’m assuming it was from poorly kept the cage. These enclosures need serious updating, immediately.
The animals were incredible friendly! The bunnies and goats were very happy with pets and love. It’d be nice to see them in better conditions and fresh water.
We did not self pick, but they offer picking for blueberries and raspberries as well. There’s also a small kids playground.
