A very bizarre experience when trying to purchase a book

点评：Tried to purchase a book in this shop today. The book I was interested in was priced at £45.
I noticed they were advertising that prices were up to 50% off and as my wife was purchasing a book anyway I asked about possibly getting the book for £20 given we were buying two books. Rather than simply saying no, the owner curtly replied that I could have got it for half-price but now for asking that I would have to pay £30 for the book if I wanted it.
When I responded by saying no worries I'd just get it online as a paperback the owner flew into a rage following us to the door repeatedly shouting to get out of his shop, saying I was the cause of the ruin of his bookshop buying books on Amazon. I did try to point out that I was in his shop trying to buy a book, rather than get it online, but to no avail - all in all a very bizarre experience like something straight out of the TV series Black Books!
