A lovely hidden gem and definitely worth a visit!

点评：We have lived locally now for almost 2 years so we visit very frequently but recently we have enjoyed the family friendly workshops that took place in Boston Castle itself - my 2 year old loved each session! And she is enthralled with the new park keeper’s room that is a lovely indoor space for little ones to draw, read, play and learn. Everyone we’ve met there so far, staff and other visitors, have all been so friendly and easy to get along with, everything feels quite relaxed and it’s a nice atmosphere. The staff are very knowledgeable and accommodating, always willing to go the extra mile but also happy to leave you be if that’s what’s best for you. The views from the roof are amazing on clear days.
We enjoy lots of the space outdoors in the many pockets of different types of landscapes. I like to sit quiet in the rose garden sometimes while my little one has her nap (when it’s nice weather, obviously!) and there are quite a few nature walks in the woodland. The Dell is a really nice area that I understand is currently being tended to and renovated by the very hardworking volunteers, they’re doing an amazing job!
The only thing I would say is missing, is a little play park or something more for children and families to enjoy and want to visit regularly. I don’t know if a crowd funding or something the local community could help with but I’d be interested in helping wherever I can if permissions allowed.
