Lovely camping stay but site is definitely in need of some attention

点评：Pros - lovely woodland site. Perfect if you want peace and quiet. The views in the surrounding area are absolutly beautiful. Wood burner for use outside your tent and showers were lovely and warm but very basic. Washing up area was undercover with hot running water.
Cons - No staff met us to ask if we were OK or needed anything or to even acknowledge that we had arrived! Compost toilets were pitch black with no hand sanitiser, and locks didn't work properly. The bay we had for camping was slightly overgrown with bramble and stinging nettles. It could definitely have done with being cut back and the fire pit hadn't been cleaned out. Much of the signage was weathered and green and needs replacing. The yurts were green and mouldy on the outside, I just hope they were much nicer inside.
Whole place just felt like it needed some extra TLC and then it would be a perfect place to camp.
