Beautiful flowers but left with a negative experience with customer service

* Very beautiful garden, full of beautiful, diverse, colorful flowers and very originally designed.
* The seating area is a real highlight and adds a lot of charm to the place.
**Cons:**
* Unfortunately, the customer service left a very negative impression. My elderly mother picked some flowers and three blades of grass, and my sister took a a few strands of dried flowers/hay. When we went to reception, the lady behind the desk reacted in a harsh and unfriendly way, calling it *illegal* that we had picked grass/hay.
* We immediately apologized and offered to pay, which we did for each extra strand of grass/hay, paying the same price as for a flower. She still didn’t seem willing to let it go and continued with the same tone. She even mentioned the grass/hay bushes belonged to the neighbors, which makes us wonder if they will actually receive the extra money we paid.
*The condescending manner, especially towards my elderly mother, was disheartening and left a negative mark on the day. We are adults and we would have appreciated not being spoken to as children. A friendlier and more understanding approach would have gone a long way, even a simple joke, or at least a polite explanation, would have been better. It was a misunderstanding.
* To avoid similar misunderstandings, it would be helpful to clearly mention during check-in that picking up grass/hay is not allowed, or to put up a sign near the area.
