Poor customer service (May 2024)
Coal River Farm的点评
点评：We are locals and have been to the Coal River Farm many times before which have all been pleasant visits. This time however was unfortunately severely underwhelming. We visited on a Sunday without a booking (inconvenient yes we know) and we were prepared to be advised that they were booked out. However, when we got to the counter and asked if there was a table for two we were met with a frown and a ‘there is a 30 minute wait for food’. I completely understand a wait for food on a busy day, that’s fine! But the attitude from the staff made us feel embarrassed to be there like we were an inconvenience. To be completely honest I would have just preferred for them to tell us that they had no seating and that way we could’ve saved some money and had a nicer experience elsewhere.
The food came out pretty quickly considering their estimated wait time however the pork belly was overdone and the menu pretty $$.
Considering the vast number of hospitality venues in nearby: Frogmore Creek, Puddleduck, Wicked Cheese, Wattle banks just to name a few, it is a shame that a venue can be happy to have such poor customer service in today’s economy.
Atleast they have a goat I guess.
