点评:Surprisingly good. From the outside the museum looked like an advertisement for a piano store, and indeed, there is a piano store there with scores of top quality pianos. The museum is behind the piano showroom; you can't see if when you walk in the front door. The museum contains a wonderful collection of antique pianos, organs and music boxes, all in pristine condition. I was particularly taken with the coin operated mechanical music machines, such as one that played the banjo with mechanical fingers. And if that was not enough, there were three rooms dedicated to Virginia musicians containing record awards, advertising, newsclips, photos and memorabilia (including outfits worn by the Statler Brothers and Wayne Newton's automobile). As a native Virginian I was surprised by the number of county and bluegrass musicians who were/are Virginians. My expectations for this museum were fairly low and I was happily proven wrong. I recommend it.
