Lovely park, rude cafe server

点评：Been going to this park regularly since it first opened. Never had a problem at the park. There is a parking charge now, but because I've got a blue badge, it's always been easy to get a parking space during the week (weekends are very busy, though).
It's good for walking - lots of people with dogs - and there is a shorter route for people (like me) who can't walk too far. The children's play areas are popular and well-kept.
The cafe - lots of seating, both indoors and outdoors, and there are various snacks and ice creams for sale (although the "Mr Whippy" types are only available in the summer months (June-August), as the machine is costly to run, the Manager told us. The tall lady who serves there is very rude. When I purchased teas and cakes, she didn't tell me the price or say "Please", but started a conversation with a friend who came in, so she was talking over my head. She thrust the card machine towards me, didn't say "Thanks", and continued with her chat to the friend. She plonked the drinks down, and left the teabags in (I had to ask her to take them out, as the spoons and bin are kept on her side of the counter. Bad-mannered woman.
