Despite several empty tables, we were informed that they were all reserved. It’s hard to believe that a café like the Farm Shop Café would require reservations! It was only after expressing our frustration to the manager that a table for two was finally found.
Unfortunately, the disappointment didn’t stop there. The food quality was poor and served cold. The presentation was unappetizing, and we regretted ordering the Barn Breakfast. What we received was half a plate of cold canned beans, one egg, and a tiny sausage.
Additionally, when we went to pay, the young man at the cash register couldn’t provide us with the correct change. He charged us £40.65 and only returned £0.22 from our £41.
Overall, we felt it was a waste of time and money. We would not recommend this place to others looking for a pleasant breakfast/lunch experience. They must improve its reservation management, food quality, and staff training.
