Wightlink Isle of Wight Ferries的点评
点评：My learning disabled uncle always loved travelling on the Lymington ferry and I grew up learning about all the different ferries from the Freshwater through the Cenwulf and Centred to the Wight... trio. .His best ever trip was on the Wight Sky when he was invited onto the captain's deck to meet Captain Wendy but his favourite was the Wight Light.
Unfortunately he died unexpectedly of choking in hospital the December after his 78th birthday so my mother, sister and I organised a day trip to celebrate what would have been his 80 th birthday.
The day did not disappoint. We travelled over on the Wight Sky and enjoyed refreshments whilst watching the journey, including being expertly passed by the Wight Light!
Before our return journey we saw the Wight Sun dock and were informed by a very friendly crew member who was busy organising the boarding traffic, that all 3 ferries were in operation on Saturday as it was very busy. We were booked on the following ferry so decided to have some tea and wait.It was the Wight Light we travelled back upon and yet again all the staff were both very friendly and efficient. My uncle would have loved it had he been with us!
