点评：I joined this bus tour in Baddeck , Nova Scotia - #45 here... and are therefore only able to comment on a portion of the tour. Our tour guide Jackie, with her dynamite personality. went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was comfortable and well looked after. She never stopped!!!! Thank you Jackie - you are awesome.
I have driven the windy steep roads in Cape Breton and couldn't write this review without mentioning our driver, John. He maneuvered the roads with this large bus like he grew up there. In the daytime and in the black of night John mastered those curves and turns and we never once had an up-close and personal with a moose (that I knew of)! He was very polite, patient, always had a smile on his face and made us feel very safe. John, you are amazing!!!!
I was very disappointed with The Ceilidh Country Lodge and the 'continental breakfast'. As most of us were seniors, I also feel that a newer bus would go a long way in making the long trip more comfortable.
The music and the scenery were astonishing. It was the people on the bus that made the trip - who would have 'thunk' that these Upper Canadians could be sooo much fun. In true Cape Breton fashion we laughed and laughed and laughed some more. Bob at 5, Di, Amy, the turtle ladies, the old guy and too many more to mention - Thank you very much for being you and for making this a very memorable experience!!! Sincerely hope to catch up with some of you on another adventure.
