点评：Hi, this review is probably a bit unfair to give it 3 stars, because the resort was closed. Once I got to the beach, there was a big sign saying closed until end of November.
But there are some important points you should know: do not leave messages with the "Chat" box on their website, do not send emails to the costa rica sailing and do not phone them. None of those methods will work to contact the owners. Sending email to Hemingway's (next door) to ask status of the sailing club also doesn't work.
Somewhat belatedly (while I was on the beach) it occurred to me to try WhatsApp. The owners replied immediately and were very helpful. They are *probably* going to reopen in December, but not particularly useful to me.
Portrero beach itself was lovely. I hope these guys reopen.
Also, the drive to Potrero town requires fording through a few inches of river, so I'd recommend a 4WD if you do go, my little Toyota was very nervous.
