Do something about the parking!!!!!

点评：We purchased tickets for a show here 6 months prior to the show date.
At the time of purchase we were not offered any add ons (parking, lounge access etc). Five days before the event we get an email from Live Nation saying paid parking passes are STRONGLY recommended.
We attempted to purchase per recommendation, but premier parking was already sold out. I attempted to purchase the minute I received the email. The only parking left was “early entry/ tail gate parking.” I purchased that, assuming we’d go an hour or two before the 7:30 start time.
The day before the show we started receiving robo calls advising anyone with premier or early/ tailgating parking need to be at the venue prior to 3:00 when general admission parking opened. The robo call said if you showed up to the venue after 5 (for a 7:30 show) you would risk missing all or part of your event!!!!!
We took our teenagers to this concert and were forced to sit in our car for almost FOUR hours in the parking lot. They advertised they would have food trucks and games starting at 1:00pm for those people who had to come early. There was a lemonade truck and funnel cakes. Had we read the reviews on the parking before hand we would’ve never bought tickets for this venue.
My husband ended up leaving the show 20 minutes before it ended just to make sure we didn’t get stuck in 2+ hours of traffic after the show ended. Since visiting I’ve not spoken to one person who had a different experience with this venue.
Because they forced people to come 5 hours early they pushed tailgating. Suggesting you should bring drinks and grills etc. People were trashed (what else are they supposed to do for 5 hours). It was 95 degrees out. Girl in our row puked everywhere. Trails of puke were all over the place. It was disgusting. We will not return to Starlake.
