Be prepared not to swim in the sea!
Rethymno Beach的点评
点评：Beach was very pebbly when we first arrived so take water shoes. Then we had four days of not being able to go in the sea at all. You wouldn’t want to because of how dangerous it was!! We witness one lad being rescue from a bystander (after lifeguard was off duty) Do NOT attempt it!!
It was a real disappointment to go away and experience the beach only to not get to swim. My suggestion is to hire a car from Minoan rent a car (next to Hercules restaurant) this guy was amazing. Stress free and great prices than any others we asked. Then head towards Bali beach for a calmer sandy beach. We also went to Preveli beach to do some snorkeling but the sea was so oily. It was like this in a few places?
The lake was beautiful so worth going on windy days too.
Iperion beach hotel (where we stayed) was amazing. Their restaurant also served the best food from all the places we tried and the cheapest!!
