Sweetwater Wetlands Park的点评
点评：This place should be called NannyState Park. I absolutely love the nature, but this is the worst park in Gainesville. They give no warning that the park is closing, and if you are still here they lock the exit side of the gate so you cannot leave. Its really nasty. I’m sitting here in a line of 7 cars waiting for them to open the gate so i can go home. We have been sitting here for 40mins now. Im about to order a pizza to the gate for everyone waiting.
This has happened three times now, and i really really resent it and i will never come back. I came here to be alone in nature and mourn a recent loss.
Not only this but the charge to enter the park is only digital, so they charge a convenience fee on top of the 5$ through the app, and i cannot use petty cash to come here on a whim.
Very sad, this was my favorite place when it opened. The ranger was the kindest man, who would ride around the entire trail and give a courtesy notice that it was closing. Now its other people, and they changed things around. I cannot imagine leaving work and locking up while people are still here.
The last failure of this park is that it is closed on the weekends. Probably the most likely days id want to go with friends or family on my days off.
