点评：They refused to accept credit notes that I had previously clearly been told don't expire even when I explained that I had taken the trouble to phone up and check, and had been told they were valid indefinitely. By being told this it meant I lost out on the vouchers as if I'd been told I needed to use them sooner I naturally would have come in with them. Even when I explained this and that they had belonged to my Dad who had passed away and that I'd wanted to use them to buy plants for my Mum, they weren't interested. As this experience brought up memories of my Dad I felt quite upset but rather than comfort me the mangeress simply busied herself writing on the credit notes that they couldn't be used. I felt their attitude to be cold, hurtful and inflexible. She even said 'we are not in the business of giving away plants', even though by refusing to honour my credit notes they were making a profit at my expense.
