Extremely Disappointing – Not a Spa Experience

点评：I’m genuinely shocked this place is marketed as a spa – it’s far from it. The pool feels more like a dated leisure centre than a relaxing retreat. During our visit, there was a children’s swimming class taking place, which completely ruined any sense of peace or relaxation. The “relaxation room” was tiny, cold, and not at all inviting – hardly a place to unwind.
The steam room and sauna were equally disappointing: cramped, worn down, and nowhere near the standard you’d expect for the price. Seating around the pool was dirty, and the overall environment felt neglected.
Service was poor – the only efficient moment was when staff shouted names for treatments across the room, which felt chaotic and completely out of place in what’s supposed to be a calming setting.
Everyone around us looked equally confused and disappointed – it was obvious we’d all been misled by the branding and the photos online. The bar area is the only part that matched expectations, but that’s not why you book a spa day.
Honestly, save your money. This place doesn’t deliver even the basics of a spa experience. I think you’d be less disappointed spending the day at Butlins.
