pickup from Sofia for a tour to Rila Monastery with drop off in Pernik where I stayed several nights to attend the Surva festival
one day guide service at the festival
pickup from Pernik for a day tour to Plovdiv with drop off at Sofia
Adriana’s service was really a godsend for an older solo traveler like myself. my guide Simeon was very knowledgeable about Bulgarian history and culture and it was a privilege to discuss topics with him with the breadth and depth he provided
it was great having him at the festival- he could show you the best viewing spots, if you are solo you it is a real blessing if you can have someone hold your place for you if you need to take a brief break, help you with photos, alert you as to the showstopper groups, advise you how to get the best opportunity for interaction with the characters, provide excellent commentary about the details of the surva tradition and the differences between the various performing groups
adriana and simeon were both very responsive- car was comfortable and the trip was stress free!
