Three Guides, Three Bulgarian Countries

点评：Hristo, my itinerary designer made me a fabulous three weeks road trip.
I met my guide Albs in Shkroder, Albania and he took me all over Albania for four days. He was so knowledgeablle and fun to be with. Besides the castles, and the Ottoman history, I visted a winery and we had a farm 'slow food' lunch.
He drove me over the mountains to Prizren, Kosovo where I had a day off (laundry/haircut/sitting drinking coffee in the plaza people watching) where I met Valon, PHD Cultural Anthropologist, my driver/guide for Kosovo. Wow, he really knows the special places to take you that you never concidered. And if there is somewhere in Kosovo you want to go, he will take you there.
After four amazing days with Valon he drove me to Skopje, Macedonia to meet my next guide Milan, a university educated archaeologist. Milan, really knows his country, history and he aims to deliver. I wanted to visit several small wineries and wow, he brought me to some amazing wineries. One thing about the Balkan's people's culture is that a guest in their home or business is #2 after god and family. So traveling the Balkans is so comfortable, so welcoming and so many layers of history. Three weeks, three tourguide/drivers.... that was a very complicated adventure and it went off with zero problems.
