Linear Park的点评
点评：Browsing the area on Tripadvisor I found the Linear Park in Bingham. The park runs from Nottingham Road to where the former railway line meets the River Smite. The best place to pick it up in on Tithby Road. It's just off the A52 Bingham Bypass and there are places you can park around here.
There is a gentle staircase to get down onto the path and there is some great art on the bridge walls.
I walked to the Nottingham Road entrance which has a gentle ramp to get onto the path so if so are with someone who has a buggy, wheelchair or mobility scooter this would be the best place to get onto the path.
There is a decent surface along the path and I visited in May so the trees provided good shelter. Once it gets under the A52 the surface gets a bit more stony and it looks like there are remains of ballast still here. From here you are really in the countryside and there are plenty of wild flowers to enjoy and the insects were making the most of this area.
Unfortunately due to time constraints I did not have an opportunity to walk the full distance but I would recommend wearing walking shoes if the weather is bad.
