We did an Amazon jungle trip with Amazon Rambo Jungle Tours as a father and son, my son is 14 years old.
Originally we booked two nights and three days, but during the tour we quickly realized how special it was and extended for an extra day.
Out of our entire two and a half weeks traveling in Brazil, this was without a doubt the most intense and unforgettable experience we had.
This is not a standard jungle tour like most agencies offer. It is a real Amazon experience - wild nature, animals in their natural environment, sleeping in the jungle, piranha fishing, and truly getting to know local life.
Rambo does not feel like a typical guide. He lives the jungle. He has a very personal connection with his guests, everything is done with a smile, lots of laughter, and genuine love for what he does. No poses, no show, just real and honest.
Everywhere we went it was clear how well known and respected he is. Locals of all ages know him and welcome him warmly, which says a lot.
We felt safe the entire time, especially traveling as a father with a child.
If you are looking for a real, authentic Amazon experience, this is highly recommended.
