The water was TOO LOW to paddle for most of the trip

点评：If you go on the "Swimming Hole Tour" in September, you will be warned, "The water is low", but not after you have spent $60 on a canoe you will mostly be dragging through the water rather than paddling. The "Adventure Tour" is closed due to low water, but the Swimming Hole Tour should be closed at this time, too, if there isn't enough water to paddle a kayak through it. We ran into another couple on the tour, and they were just as frustrated. We kept wondering if, eventually, we would have enough water to paddle. We didn't make it to the end before we decided to turn back because we were walking more than paddling. Also, make sure NOT to follow the link in your email reservation that says "Get Directions" because you will "get directions" to ANOTHER kayaking organization that will be share your annoyance that Kayak The Red still hasn't fixed this link. This is probably a fun thing to do in the spring, but not in September. I cannot recommend.
