HOLIDAY SHOPPING AT TRI-CITY PLAZA
Tri-City Plaza的点评
点评：Holiday shopping at the Tri-City Plaza, I stopped in at T.J.Maxx. I initially planned on being there for 20 minutes or so. There were so many wonderful things to look at, I was there for 1½ hours.
Many items were great for holiday gift-giving. The prices were good, too.
As a stocking-stuffer, I got a 4-pack of A La Maison de Provence French Triple Milled Hand & Body Bar Soap in the Winter Cranberry scent. The soap is organic/herbal. The package was $4.99. The MSRP was $7.00.
I looked at some Michael Kors puffer jackets and purses. His items had a wide range of prices.
Every department had gift items.
The Toy Dept. was quite large.
While there, I also shopped at Market Basket were I picked up a few pantry staple items I was low on.
Then, I stopped by Staples to look at printers.
Although a number of stores have come and gone in the past 20 years, new businesses open, and it’s still a good place to shop for a variety of items.
Longstanding businesses include Market Basket, T.J. Maxx, Staples, Sally Beauty Supply, Rent-A-Center, H&R Block, and Somersworth Nails.
Among the newer businesses are GameStop, Diversions Puzzles and Games, Pet Supplies Plus, 9Round Kickboxing Fitness, Jersey Mike’s Subs, and Tet Vietnamese Kitchen as well as Citizens Bank, Aspen Dental, and Dairy Queen on site pads out by High Street.
LL Flooring is the latest tenant to close permanently. It is reportedly bankrupt and going out of business.
Whenever one business leaves or closes permanently, another takes its place, and Tri-City Plaza maintains its good mix of retail and service businesses.
Former businesses that I miss include the combination Ames, Ben Franklin, Fashion Bug/Dress Barn, The Wooden Spoon Restaurant, Olympia Sports, ½ Off Cards, and Seacoast Crafters. And, Staples now occupies the space where a movie theater in the Spinelli Cinemas chain was.
I maintain my rating of 4. 0 on Tri-City Plaza and can recommend shopping there.
The reason for the delay in submitting this review was due to a months-long loss of my ability to post photos with my reviews and some health issues.
