点评：Island Mobile Safaris in Maun, Botswana delivered an amazing and unforgettable safari experience to !Nxai Pan National Park from start to finish. The team consisted not only of Uncle Joe our guide, Manual the cook and Martin all around assistant, but we were lucky to also have Sean and Brit the company managers on this trip as they noted they hadn't been to Nxai Pan in a number of years! The trip itself was professional, warm, and incredibly well organized, making every part of the journey feel effortless – though you could readily see how much work went into it! The drive to Nxai Pan was interesting it's about 200 K from Maun, and while a chilly morning the provision of over-parkas was an excellent touch. Uncle Joe's knowledge of the bush, wildlife behavior, and !Nxai Pan NP, was outstanding, and each game drive brought exciting sightings, beautiful landscapes, and fascinating stories. We started seeing wildlife, including elephants, zebra and giraffe, long before we arrived at the actual park. Our first stop was to see the Baobab trees immortalized in Thomas Baine's paintings – they were spectacular. Our drives each day around the park were outstanding, lions on a buffalo kill, many elephants, springbok, bat eared foxes – so cute - zebra, giraffe, ostrich, and many antelope species. It was spectacular. The mobile camp was exceedingly comfortable, the meals were excellent including our first night's appetizer of stuffed shitake mushrooms I was blown away by that in the bush! Everyone worked hard to ensure our adventure was something to cherish and they more than succeeded!! If you are looking for an authentic, well-run, and truly memorable safari, I cannot recommend Island Mobile Safaris highly enough.
