Lovely stay at the chalets
Umlalazi Nature Reserve的点评
点评：Stayed at the chalets (no 1 to 3). Was a little apprehensive after another recent review but they were clean and mostly in good nick. Walking distance to the lagoon and the mangrove boardwalk. Be wary of monkeys who'll raid your chalet if left open. Campsite were next door and the ablution facilities looked basic but fine.
Met a wonderful retired gentleman, Hilton Botha, who lives in Zini but spends every day at the nature reserve. He knows a lot about fishing and told me he has access to a barge boat where he can take several out for 4 or 5 hour trips at a very good price. Didn't get a chance to take him up on it this time, but we will the next. His number - 0788549358 if you wanted advice on anything in the area.
We were in Zini for the Zini Race in the Shade mountain bike race. The start was a short ride away to the Country club and they said the trails are open all year round.
