Very good, long-standing garden centre
Trowell Garden Centre的点评
点评：Trowell Garden Centre seems to have been here since time began. I grew up with it being my local garden centre - it's where my elderly brother did work experience, it's where we came as a family every now and again and it's where I've walked to from my house ob hot summer days every so often.
It's a nice garden centre with a really good selection of plants in their extensive outer yard, pleasant indoor household items, and a built-in aquarium.
There is also a really good cafe (Diggs Cafe) on site, and this is very nice.
There is a very large car park on site, and a smaller overflow car park too. You never have much difficulty parking at Trowell Garden Centre.
These days I only really come at Christmas. There is always a lovely array of Christmas items on sale, but I only really come for the terrific, vast model Christmas village they have on display. It's a thing to behold! It seems to get bigger every year, and I revert to a childlike state whenever I see it.
Unfortunately the cafe was closed when I came this year. I shall make a special effort to return for the cafe in 2025.
And on that note, this is my final review of 2024 - 212 in total that have taken me from Ashford to Ashbourne, Langley Mill to London, Newbury to Nice, Heanor to Hastings and Pinxton to Playa Blanca.
Here's hoping 2025 is just as busy!
