Having been to an elephant sanctuary on our last trip, we expected similar. This was anything but.

点评：Previously we’d been to an elephant sanctuary which was a great experience, but this was on another level.
We thought we’d be part of a group, but having booked for a half day experience, we were the only ones there, aside from the two keepers / mahout, and three elephants.
The elephants (Grandmother, Mother and Baby) are looked after by their mahout, in their own rainforest area.
We met the elephants, fed them bananas, then walked with them through the forest, down to the river, where we watched them enjoy the water.
There was no bathing of the elephants, which was absolutely fine for us, as we got close enough at all times anyway.
A truly wonderful and immersive experience. Take mosquito spray, and enjoy.
Starboy, who runs the tour.m, is a lovely and welcoming host.
You won’t be disappointed. Truly magical experience.
