Lovely beach and worth a visit - just be mindful of the tide changes if you want sand!

点评：We spent 3 days in Blackpool and visited the beach at least once a day, sometimes more.
It was busy as expected during the summer holidays but not uncomfortable where you couldn't find a space. We always managed to find a spot with plenty of room.
It's not the Caribbean, its Blackpool. So as expected the sea wasn't crystal clear, bit browny in places but was nice enough to splash around in. It was freezing cold but on very hot days, this was appreciated! My 4 year old and 9 year old enjoyed playing in the sea and on the beach.
It was clean in places and then not so clean in other places but that's down to the public not cleaning up after themselves!
One mistake we made was on the first day we went to the beach expecting to be able to play on the sand and the tide had come all the way in, right up to the bottom of the steps and there wasn't any sand at all! My children still had fun in the sea but didn't get to go on the "beach" until day 2 when we timed it better. We found early morning and later afternoon was the sandy times. Between 1pm and 3pm the tide was in. This also varied because at times the sea would be in so close that there was not any sand but then other times the sea was quite a walk away along the sand to even padle.
Really lovely beach though and lots of fun had during each visit here. Fabulous range of shops, arcades, pubs and restaurants along the sea front. Donkey rides and horse and carriages if that interests you. 3 different piers to choose from to have a walk along. North pier didn't really have a lot going on but central pier and south pier were very family friendly with lots to do!

海滩真的很美，每次来这里都玩得很开心。海滨有各种各样的商店、商场、酒吧和餐厅。如果你感兴趣的话，还可以骑驴或坐马车。这里有3个不同的码头可以散步。北码头没什么好玩的，但中央码头和南码头非常适合家庭游玩，有很多活动！
