Bloody awful, overpriced Christmas menu, terrible service, would never go here again.

just read a review by Pauline.. she must of had a different chef and waitress to us because our meal was terrible;
Cold, small goats cheese tart, horrid beetroot wellington that tasted like dirt, one and a half roast potatoes on our plates with a flat yorkshire pudding, had to ask for the veggie gravy as it was forgotten, cheese board was very poor.. 6 small crackers with spicy chutney so not for everyone, kids pizza was undercooked and slimy.. sauce on it was more like salsa.. big lumps in it so my son wouldn't eat it.
Waitress was very immature, didn't seem to have much experience, said some really stupid annoying things to us, then after our desserts she came with the bill.. we paid, then driving home we realised we didn't get the coffee and mince pie.. do these people not know their own Christmas menu????? we booked weeks ago, my son wasn't happy and we had forgotten it was supposed to be a 4 course.
Will never go back, what a horrible meal that was suppose to be a fun catch up with friends and family.
