Boat tour on the Volsunga IV. was well worth it -- even with balance issues!

点评：It was a beautiful Sunday in New Haven and our thoughts focused on how to spend it wisely. The description of the Volsunga IV boat tour promised history and stories -- a bit more than the other two boats that navigate the Thimble Islands off Stoney Creek so we reserved the 3 pm sail. Since all three boats use the same dock in a revolving procession and the advertised timing is not necessarily to the minute, you'd do well to doublecheck you are on the boat you've reserved. I almost took the wrong one. The mother and daughter team that runs the boat are knowledgeable, but they're also gracious and delightful. When my husband's recent balance issues made him fearful stepping from the dock onto the boat, they and the other passengers cheered him on. He loved the trip and later disembarked comfortably. We would really recommend this tour.
