点评:This has become a traditional annual event for us, though I believe many in the crowd are there far more frequently,. as evidenced by how quickly the field side tables, and personal pavilions, and field-side reserve spaces sell out. Regardless of which reservation time window you missed (I believe they are sold out on the day they are offered at the beginning of the season) there is plenty of lawn area to just put your chairs at without reservations, and still enjoy the experience. And this is indeed experiential, not a venue for rivalry. While the play is serious. these are exhibition games. The competition is not intense: few spectators actually care deeply which team wins. A majority of spectators arrive with some food, or elaborate catered picnic, of which clearly is of equal importance as the play on the field. There is a mild dress code, which discourages jeans and tee shirts, and it's not uncommon for women to actually dress up a bit. We were always among those in the majority who simply dress appropriately for the weather.
