The beach is closed to the south by Monte Orlando where the Santuario della Montagna Spaccata is located, and to the north by the Fontania promontory where there are other inlets with both private and public access to bathing.
It is above all the beach of the locals attracted by the wide choice of establishments with bars and restauramts available.
From the beach you can admire the so-called "Nave di Serapo", a large rock whose elongated shape recalls that of a ship.
It was easy for us to access to it from our hotel and so we enjoyed it for two days in a row.
