Good views but ticketing is a pain

点评：The Belfry has some excellent views and is interesting to learn about on the interactive and non-interactive screens.
Signs will direct you all the way down the hill to a ticket office if you want to enter, so if you've already climbed the hill to the Belfry, you need to do it again. Even if you have a MuseumPass like I do, that simply isn't enough, despite having free entry you need to go all the way down the hill to have it verified then back up. Wouldn't it be easier to see my valid MuseumPass at the Belfry and allow entry?
The staff when I visited don't speak English, which is fine, but just a note to people who don't speak French.
While at the top of the Belfry, a school trip entered and took over the entire place. With young children sitting on the stairs, on all floors and teachers taking elevator-loads of kids up and down non-stop, the stairs AND lift were completely unable to be used. Very glad I didn't have to pay to enter as the whole experience was spoiled.
Also, as expected, it's not very accessible for those with mobility issues.
