Beautiful conservation area but dreadful washrooms and showers!

点评：My wife and I stayed in our motorhome at the Fanshawe Conservation Campgrounds for 17 days this summer and were generally pleased with the campsite itself. However, we were dismayed at the condition of the washrooms and showers. During our two months of travel in Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, Quebec, and Ontario, the Fanshaw facilities were the dirtiest we encountered. In the time we spent at the campgrounds, the sidewalk outside the washrooms was not swept once while we were there; so, mud, grass and leaves were constantly tracked in. The floors of the faculties have never been painted, therefore, the edges of the walls in the washrooms are full of dirt and grim and the units smell of stale urine. We used the shower in our motorhome to avoid the Fanshawe showers. We cannot believe that provincial health inspectors would allow such conditions to prevail. We brought this to the attention of staff members, but they seemed disinterested. We will re-visit the Conservation area but will never book into the campground again.
